First 10 Teachers Complete It's Our Water Online Educator Workshop!

The Environmental Education Fund is proud to announce that the first 10 teachers have completed the new It's Our Water Online Educator Workshop, and they can receive Criteria One credit towards their EE Certification.. The self-paced learning experience makes it possible for North Carolina educators to take a high-quality workshop that fits into thier busy schedules.

IOW Online Workshop Approved for Criteria 1 Credit for EE Certification!

The Environmental Education Fund is proud to announce that the new It's Our Water Online Educator Workshop has been approved by the N.C. Office of Environmental Education as a Criteria 1 workshop for EE Certification. The IOW Online Educator Workshop is the first online course to be approved as a Criteria 1 workshop, and it is an exciting new way for teachers to get IOW professional development and Criteria 1 credit. The self-paced learning experience makes it possible for North Carolina educators to take a high-quality Criteria 1 workshop that fits into thier busy schedules. We love our live workshops and will continue to provide them to teachers across the state, but in an effort to reach more educators with this important curriculum, we will are now offering the workshop online.  Read more »

New Updated Curriculum Available!

It’s Our Water has undergone a complete review, revision and rejuvenation!  All the activities have a been updated, aligned to the new 2012 N.C. Science Standard Course of Study, and put onto a CD for teachers to use.

IOW Is a Hit at NCSTA Conference November 2011

The Environamental Education Fund introduced hundreds of teachers to It's Our Water and It's Our Air at the 2011 NCSTA Conference in Greensboro, NC on November 10 and 11. Teachers stopped by our booth in the exhibit hall to get free materials and find out what these great curricula have to offer 8th grade science and high school earth/environmental science teachers. Others joined us to learn more about It's Our Air and the newly updated It's Our Water curriculum at a presentation. The reaction was overwhelming enthusiastic!
